Rahovec is Kosovo's wine region. Vineyards cover much of the valley around the town, grapes have been grown here for a long time, and wine is still at the heart of local culture. Roughly three-quarters of the country's vineyard area lies in the Rahovec valley.
This experience visits a family-run winery set among the vines, to see how the local winemaking tradition works today: from grape to glass, finishing with a tasting of selected wines.
Why it is special. Many visitors do not expect it: a growing wine culture with deep agricultural roots, in a landscape shaped by vineyards.
